Osteria I Nonni improves on its already minimal retail-­to-restaurant wine mark-ups by offering its entire wine list at retail prices* on any day that the Dow Jones Industrial Average on the NYSE falls from the close of the previous day. On days that the Dow climbs, normal wine list pricing will resume.  

Frank Marchionda, President of BuonGiorno Italia and Osteria I Nonni initiated the new pricing to soften some of the edges of these challenging times by extending even more of the I Nonni hospitality. 

“At times like these you draw together around what’s comforting and sustaining. For me, as an Italian, that’s always been food and wine; the pleasure—and the solace—of the table. We laugh, we cry, we drink and eat, and then we drink and eat some more, " Marchionda said.  "So this is our way of making that just a little easier for our guests, and to give them a good reason for following that crazy market.”
